Holiday service...
      #586439 - 22/12/2007 12:43

Unlike some sites;

Quote:

21 December 2007

'Tis the season for the hamsters to go into hibernation and for Celebdaq Board members to travel to their luxury ski lodge in Gstaad.

BBC Celebdaq

The AP hamster will not be going anywhere (other than round and round). Neither are the admin going anywhere (although we're open to offers).

Therefore we will be providing a normal service over the Christmas period; i.e. suspect unread post indicators, temporary unavailable service notices, etc.

So, before y'all get buried under a mountain of seasonal excess (excess booze, excess food, excess packaging, excess familial argy bargy)...

Enjoy!!

PS
There's still time to send a Christmas card to the forum...

Poor Hammy......................he doesn't even get a day off on Crimbo! Well I just hope you're giving him a double ration of sunflower seeds and a drop of sherry in his water bottle..................you never know, get enough of that sherry down his throat and we could have a turbocharged AP website for crimbo!

...and then no service at all as he tries to recover from the hangover

So, normal service then!

If so, I think he should change his name to BigWheel.

In my experience computer systems usually work OK when unattended - it's when people start trying to "improve" things that problems begin
