My new (needs must) website
      #665245 - 10/06/2008 16:18

Right, I've finally managed to secure my own domain name, found some hosting complete with a relatively straight forward site builder and found the time to build my new website.

This is a "needs must" site as I needed it in a hurry before applying for my press pass for the Edinburgh Festival and prior to contacting comics. As such, I'm aware that the way the photos are displayed on the portfolio page isn't the best abd there could be a few added touches that I can work on to make it look a bit slicker, eg using a graphic in the title etc.

All that said, please have a look and let me know what you think.

You can find it here.

I think you need to check the images against the captions - Marcus Brigstocke and Andrew O'Neill seem to have had extensive face lifts! Also, next to the picture of Rhys Darby, the text says "Sta of HBO's hit comedy" - there's an 'r' missing! But it looks like it could develop into a good site.

Hmm, looks fine to me. How does it look for you?

Thanks, I'll correct that one now.

Marcus Brigstocke has tattoos all the way up his arm and doesn't look at all like pictures of him that I've seen, even though the JPEG image title suggests that it's correct. But I now realise that Andrew O'Neill is a tranvestite, so the picture you've got of him does fit - my mistake!

Not bad start Barney. I don't suppose Jason Rouse is any relation to Andy, is he?

Is that really Marcus Brigstocke or not Im not good at recognising faces but he seems to have put on a hell of a lot of weight. And Ive never seen hi8m with a beard like that either, but maybe he's grown it...

Hang my head in shame, of course it's not Marcus Brigstocke, it's Markus Birdman. My only defence is that I did pull the site together very late at night.
