Peoples main concern seems to be whether Getty will be selling the Flickr images for their normals costs and what percentage will the photographer get. Gettys usual 20% for the photographer?
Also, how to find decent photos on Flickr since it was Yahoo'd
That's exactly my concern. Also Yahoo/Flickr is working with Reuters with their "You Witness News" thing. Where is this gonna take Getty Images in what concerns standards and brand image? Having said that, there is also some high quality work in Flickr, so perhaps they are looking more at their stock photography side of the business rather than the editorial side.
