Bronica ETRS Extension tube stuck.
      #557846 - 22/10/2007 11:33

Hi
I've recently bought an E-42 extension tube for my Bronica ETRS which I've now got stuck on my Zenzanon 75mm lens. I've tried re-attaching tube to body etc. but CANNOT separate extension tube from lens.
This is my first posting in this forum and any advice would be very welcome.

Yeah, I'd seen this post and it didn't seem to help.
But I've now fixed it!
For future readers: Before pushing the centre pin in on the lens side of the extension tube make sure the rotating pins are aligned with the green dot. Then, with a bit of wiggling about, the lens should detach from the tube.
Thanks for your help and I hope this helps others.

Any esoteric information, strange anecdotes or links on the Bronica ETRS very welcome.
My medium format gear atm consists of:
Bronica ETRS
Zenzanon E II 75mm lens
Zenzanon MC 150mm lens
E-42 extension tube
AE finder
AE-II finder.
Sekonic Flashmate L-308S

My lightmeter rarely seems to correspond with the AE-II finder. Any comments on this?
Cheers

trust your lightmeter- do the results using just the lightmeter look better than those using the AE finder?
The AE finders are notorious for not giving accurate readings.I have one and I admit that I don't use it more likely to use old rules of old thumbs- exposures usually work out ok(on print film -more latitude anyway) and can be manipulated if necessary on computer

Thanks. The film I shot using the AE finder and the external meter worked out reasonably well. I didn't trust the AE-II finder to start with and will probably get rid of it now.

I find mine useful for two reasons, one it enables me to shoot SLR style and

two I don't have a waist level finder
