Happy new year Jack,
Were you out with your mates from the PD or on a tour of your own? Is the story behind this one just a case of too much to drink, or were other substances involved?

Thanks and a (belated) Happy New Year's to you as well  As for the shot, I was walking
up the street to where the "countdown crowd" had gathered and noticed the girl (in the
same position) and raised my camera to take the shot and the fellow had joined her. Did a
quick chimp -- saw that it was 00:00:17 of Jan 01-08 -- and knew this pics fate was sealed
As for substances and girl, I suspect so there was something involved but not sure what.
However, the following girl was definitely involved in -- I am guessing here -- inbibing of numerous
libations amongst other possibilities
The above photo, amongst others, definitely make up my 2007>2008 transition

So sad to see healthy youngsters ruining their futures. Not the one off revellers, we have all done that, but the long term binge drinkers I mean.
