FirstView - a General Apology for the Chaos
      #438764 - 14/02/2007 15:16

My apologies to everyone for the problems with the software in the last ten days or so, which have made the old FirstView board unusable. Hopefully it's only a temporary issue, but we seem to be stuck with it for the moment.

Anyway, this is a substitute FirstView board, to try to make sure that we can carry on without losing too much momentum. I hope the forum problems haven't put anyone off making an effort to contribute to FirstView - we've had a good response in the first two months, so it would be a real shame if the software glitches spoiled it.

I've tried to copy over all the pictures from January and February in the threads below, though I may well have made some mistakes - if your picture is missing or has been attributed to someone else please send me a pm and I'll correct it as soon as possible. I'll try to copy over the other information about times and dates and stuff in due course, but for the moment I wanted to keep the task within manageable limts.

Huw, thank you so much for your time and effort in getting this together, no mean feat.

Like you, I trust the disruption to the FirstView board won't deter folk from continuing to support the project and contribute further.

Thanks again.

Aren't they supposed to be putting out a guiness flavoured variety? Or did I imagine that?

Thanks Chris. Yes, I think I got everyone's images posted correctly, but as it was a rather repetitive cut & paste job I could easily have made some mistakes. No-one has reported any though - yet. :-)
