I AM Cambodia, mixed media exhibition

I AM Cambodia is an exhibition at Walcot Chapel, Bath, BA1 16th-28th September 2008. Photographer Alistair Baird is joining forces with Frome-based artist, Mandy Robertson to give their backing to a revolutionary “Self-help tourism” company based in Cambodia. Visitors will be treated to evocative painting and crafted monochrome prints inspired by recent tours of Angkor Wat, Cambodia as well as a chance to understand what can and is being achieved by responsible tourism in Cambodia. If you're considering a trip to Cambodia or just intrigued by its exotic Khmer art and history, it will be worth a visit.
