Photoshop Elements 6 Book
      #661026 - 30/05/2008 18:00

I have just purchased the above software, does anyone have any recommendations on a book to go with it. There seems to be loads out there, and I don't want one that
deals with just the basics, I need one with a bit more depth.

Thanks in advance

Check out "Advanced Photoshop Elements 6 " by Philips Andrews.
Published by Focal Press £22.99. ISBN 9780240520971.

I just (today) bought "Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 - Maximum Performance." I'm seeing quite a difference in my output already.

Only problem is the DVD doesn't seem to work properly, not sure if the disc is at fault or if my Windows is just being grumpy today.

Edit - I should say that I browsed Amazon at length reading reviews, then headed to the local Borders and check every single PSE6 book on their shelves. This was the one which had the most info on what I wanted from the software (ie none of the photo albums, keywords, how to paint a line type of stuff) - how to get the maximum power out of the software, for top quality photo results. It's definitely a book for photographers.

£19.99 (list price) - Borders at Fort Kinnaird, about £2 dearer than Amazon, but at least you can browse properly. They have about 8 different books, maybe 10, on PSE6, plus some on older versions, lots on CS etc. (In the reference/computers section, not photography)
