Commercial Processor - York Excel in Exeter area?
      #669664 - 22/06/2008 11:50

Hi Folks

Used to use the above quite a bit - but not lately until I sent 5 cassettes about 2 weeks ago.

So far, no photos and cheque has not been cleared - so have they gone out of business?

Thanks in advance.

John

Thanks, but could you point me to the website as I could not find one when I did several searches?

Thanks

That lead me to the website, but it all seems to be part of the Trueprint/Snapfish group now - so I have sent them a contact message to see if they can help.

I did follow up that link and that lead me to a "contact us" email screen - so I sent a message describing the problem.

I have since received an automatic message acknowledging receipt of the question, and then a further message stating that "it had been passed to the relevant department". That was on Monday - but nothing more since then, so I am still waiting for a further reply.

Regards

John

Well I would phone them then.

Good luck anyway, hope you get your films back.

As it happens, the prints arrived today - but no reply to the question!

More signiifcantly, they arrived in Trueprint folders [and Trueprint quality! ], together with a preprinted note that the YORK Excel service has been closed down due to the diminishing demand for film processing. Not a surprise really, but a disappointment as they were generally pretty good.

Anyway - immediate problems are now solved.

Regards

John
