Found some rare film goodies....
      #574008 - 25/11/2007 16:51

Went for a walk down Portobello Road and came across this goodie box:

Link1

Link 2

Just posting links because I tend to get a file size warning in the forum even with the Flickr resizes. It also will make it easier to read since it's linking to the bigger sized file.

Most of them were off by 3 decades, but there were stuff like Verichrome, High Speed Ektachrome, Ferranic colour reversal film...some 35mm, some 120 and some 4x5...

Well I didn't buy them because I didn't have any cash on me pockets but will buy some next weekend since the guy is only there in the weekends. I wanted to try the Verichrome and the Panchromatic ones and develop the Verichrome in the Tetenal kit and the Panchro via DD-X (the only ones I have available at home). I would like to have any more suggestions on how to process them.

Ooo - I wish I'd seen those! Buy a fair bit of this sort of thing, handy for test material. Don't suppose you could snap up the Ferraniacolor, and Ektachrome film for us could you? Would obviously repay for your efforts (free old film developing?! ). One box of the 5x4 Ektachrome looks to be the original E-1 process type. Would be interested in seeing what the boxed rolls are, and if exposed or not.

PM me if you need to, or email from the link below!

What an amazing find! I'd love to see the results, especially from the Ilford.

Been there last weekend on Sunday and I didn't see the seller . He is usually there on Sundays.
But I will be back there this weekend and see if I can find him. In the winter some sellers prefer stick to Saturdays only down there and I hope he hasn't done this, because that would just be unlucky for me. Can't go Saturdays as I work.
