I've only been into photography for a few months, and have been using some fairly bog standard film from jessops for my SLR, i've been looking at 7dayshop.com at what to buy for my next colour rolls. I have been looking at the Fuji Superia 400, would this be a good recommendation for a beginner or is there anything else that should be recommended? Another question, are there any other websites that offer cheap film other than 7dayshop.com? Thanks.

You don't say what you're shooting.
For general stuff (outside, in reasonable light, not fast action) I'd far prefer ISO 100 film to ISO 400 film because of the finer grain and better colour rendition. If the light is poor and/or you need to capture fast action then ISO 400 (or faster) film is necessary.
Fuji Superia is OK if you want colour prints - Kodak Portra 160VC has more realistic (less punchy) colour rendition.

Yes, lots, try the search facility on your browser.

As a beginner, I'm guessing that you're using a relatively slow lens (f/3.5 or so)? If so, then 400ISO is a reasonable place to start, especially since "modern" emulsions are smoother grained than their older relations. With print films, the printing can have an effect on the tones as well as the choice of film - possibly more so.
To see what YOU like, best bet is to order a small selection of films from 7dayshop or mailshots.com (to name the 2 places I use) and see which emulsions and speeds you prefer.

My main suppliers of film are:
Mathers of Lancashire Discount Films Direct Mailshots
I've had good service from all of them, usually next day delivery. They all advertise regularly in AP. DFD and Mailshots do mixed quantity pricing - buy at least 10 films of any mixture of types & get discount.
Superia 400 is my favourite colour print film - gives nice landscape renditions, with my local camera shop's minilab. Slightly less contrast than the slower speed films. Grain is unnoticeable at 6x4".

I've used 7dayshop for several years and I haven't found cheaper. Only thing is that their delivery isn't very fast and also a bit random - large orders tend to come in multiple packages over several days. My fave film at the moment is Fuji 400H, which is £2.20 at 7dayshop but quite a bit more elsewhere.

7dayshop are ok but the postage always take a while. 3 days is norm for me. I almost always use Mailshots, the postage is next day delivery and cheaper than 7day. I can ring up as late as 3pm and the box of goodies is with our postman next day. Likewise for Mathers.

Thanks for the tips guys, I think I will purchase a few rolls of Superia 400 from mailshots and see how they go.

I have always found Mailshots to be excellent, helpful and friendly on the phone, with normally next day delivery.

To reinforce what I said about mail delivery. I ordered some Ilford SFX and the IR Filter in the kit from 7Day Shop on Monday last week and from Mailshots ordered some Fuji C41 film. The Fuji Film arrived the next day but the SFX only arrived yesterday. Taking postal charges and speed into account Mailshots wins hands down in both accounts.
