First one: I hope this is the right room as it does have a Pentax lens mount?
Second: Now, regarding this Pentax lens mount. Am I correct in thinking that if I get a Pentax K - Tamron adaptall (2) adapter, I can use my Tamron lenses? Of course they will be manual focus, but will it be stop-down metering or will auto work? I assume the shake reduction will also work if I go into the menu set-up and set the focal length for the lens.
Third: Can I use all the K mount lenses on the Samsung (ie K, Ka, Kf etc)?
The Tamron adaptall lenses I want to use are the 90mm f/2.5 macro (with and without extension tubes) and 17mm (if that makes a difference).
I'm not a complete Pentax novice, as I did have a Pentax Auto 110 set

All manual & auto K-mount lenses can be used on K-mount cameras, but I'm not sure on the menu/metering setup on the Samsung as far as using the aperture ring goes. Certainly on the K10/K20 most manual lenses can be used in manual and aperture-priority modes. I've successfully used some pretty old glass on mine in the past.

It's pretty much the same as the Pentax K20D and as far as I know behaves in exactly the same way with older lenses.
The most convenient lenses to use will have an "A" on the aperture ring, but all prior ones are useable as well, albeait in stop down mode. You can meter manually or use Aperture Priority.

Cool
Many thanks both. I look forward to seeing the results from my Tamron lenses as I've just purchased PK mount adaptall 2 on ebay.
Many thanks both

To 1) Yes, you're welcome her as the GX-20 is a K20D in another set of clothes, both fine cameras.
To 2) NO NO NO NO No!!! Why? PKR lenses (ie to fit Ricoh) tend to get jammed on the PKAF mount cameras.. So avoid Ricoh, Rikenon and or PKR fit lenses. I've heard of no other incompatibilities for the K-mount system..

Hi Richard,
If, at all, possible try and get the Tamron PK/A adaptall mount which will be like having an "A-series lens" which will you to use all the features of the camera "with the exception of AF"
Also, I have used both of the Tamron lens (90/2.5 and 17/3.5) you have and, as you know, they are both stellar lenses
Cheers and looking forward to seeing some pics
