I finally got round to replacing the seals on my XA.Now I`ll run a film through it for test purposes.Fingers crossed.

Yes Nick, it is.The 2.8 zuiko is razor sharp.I`ve run a lot of Kodachrome through it over the years.Interesting to read Ivor Matanle`s column this week.It`s what prompted me.I bought the camera in about `92 from Jessies.IIRC it cost £100. I love rangefinders.

Yes, Ivor Matanle's article was very interesting. I was completely unaware of the XA range and wouldn't mind getting hold of one now.

Hi Rob.They are superb cameras.You do see them around.They cost far less now than I paid.

I've had an XA and an XA-1 for ages - the XA is brilliant, the XA-1 really a Trip in a small package - fun enough, but not a great camera.
