Switching back to part time AP reader.
      #662707 - 04/06/2008 17:13

Nothing to do with any test or perceive anti-olympus stuff. I just don't seem to get the time to fully read AP every week and the backlog is building up.

I'll just buy it when there are articles I am interested in, and I look forward to the E-420 and E-520 tests.

I'll try an save the subscription fee, which can go todards some new equipment (eventually). £80 a year for 10 years and I could almost afford an E-3!!!

Thanks

Nick

Must admit that I've stopped buying it every week, after a while it begins to feel like a sort of photographic deja vu... Now I tend to buy it for the special editions & specific articles.

Naturally there's an 82% chance I'll buy it if there's a bit of Oly-bashing to be had.........

Now, now. There are other brands worth bashing you know. I hope you haven't ventured in here purely to troll the Oly boys & girls!

Just got a reply from IPC media and it seems I have 5 weeks of AP left to be sent.

I know I've already paid for them, but it seems like a bit of a bonus anyway!

It's ok. Oly cameras can take a bit of bashing! I dropped my 14-45 lens on a hard pavement and it just bounced around, sustaining only very minor scuffing on the filter thread. Still works perfectly. Apparently, the cameras bounce pretty good too.

I don't always buy it but I often get to Friday trying to be economical and then give in to temptation.

Nonsense! At least it's nonsense as long as you're viewing it on a laptop...

They're well and truly flattened if you use a desktop though.
