Are the E-10 or E-20 still good buys?
      #652313 - 07/05/2008 01:17

..particularly if you just developed a knack for buying good forgotten cameras in good condition? I have kind of become a bit of a collector as I look at my cameras. The E10 and the E20 were cameras I kept eyeing up when I went into digital but could never afford or save up for,I ended up buying a Fujifilm S20 when I went digital and then a Minolta 7D.
I still look at the E10 and E20 and feel like spending some. I like the look and feel of the cameras and the samples I see online look alright for what they are. Just wanted to know what Olympus users and anybody else who can give advice on them think of the E10 and E20.

Well I think the E20 is, it had a fair few improvements over the E10 and currently the E20 is not that much seen them for under £200 on Flea Bay.

I have just done a A2 print from my E20 and it is great.

Interesting review, thanks - I especially liked this line in the conclusion:

"It all makes you wonder what Olympus are really working on and what's just around the corner... "

Nothing new there then!

We just need a retro test with some canikon, giving the E-20 82%, and I'll be looking to buy one myself ...
