NX vs Apple Aperture 2

Have NX and to be honest struggle a little with it and the hints given in AP which always relate to Adobe's all powerful PS. Downloaded free 30 trial of Aperture (apologies but Macs only) and seems bit more intuitive and little bit like Lightroom.

Wondering if anyone else had done the same for NEF conversion / editing and what their opinions are and if they had actually switched.
