Beeping Verification for the D40 in Manual Focus

Is there an option for this? I tried manual focusing with the lens kit and surprisingly, there's no beep, but the green dot lights up. The old camera beeped when I focused with it.

It's just, I feel more comfortable with double assurance the focus is there.

I've read the user and it says nowt about Bleeping in Manual mode so it looks like your gonna be stuck with the little focus dot.....

Darn. Oh well. I guess I'll have to make do with what I got. (until next year; D300 =))
