Oh I don't know, it's quite nice having an 8fps burst facility whilst holding the Fn button down regardless of what mode you are in instead of having to unlock and turn the shooting dial to CH (by which time the subject may have gone), when it's set it's set see.
The only time it's fiddly is if you already have your Fn button allotted to something else you regularly use and like it that way.

I always leave my D200 in CH mode. I just dont hold down the shutter!
