Front focusing problem
      #659563 - 26/05/2008 15:02

Just purchased a 70-200mm f2.8 sigma mk2 through Ebay and have a front focusing problem with it. It's my first autofocusing lens for my d40x, all the others i have to use manual focus and noticed it's very hard to get focus on manual, even when the "in focus" indicator is on. Is it a problem with the lense or a problem with the camera?

I've ordered a d300 as an upgrade, which hopefully should be here tomorrow so can try the lenses out on that as well, but just wondering if anyone knew whether it's the lense causing the problem or the d40x?

Everything seems to be ok on both the 50mm and the 70-200mm lense, so i presume it was the d40x. Can't really play with the camera fully till i get a compact flash card tomorrow and manage to get some time to have a play in the sun.

I hope that you got an SD card for the D40x
