Nikon 24-70 f2.8

Hi all was looking to by a 24-70mmf2.8 but i see its not listed on Nikon uk web site. Is there a new one comeing out. or have i missed something

Hmmm i cant find it under wide angle zoom lenses .

That's because it's not a wideangle zoom - it's a 'Normal Zoom'. (Or 'standard zoom', in British parlance - don't know why the Nikon UK site uses the American terminology.)

Thanks allways thought if a lens was less then 50mm at its widest it came under wideangle zoom. lol thanks any way

Well, to be fair Nikon themselves aren't terribly consistent about which page they put lenses on. But a zoom lens that goes from modest wideangle to modest telephoto has long be known as a 'standard zoom', or as per the American usage, 'normal zoom', so the 24-70mm is at least in the right place.
