Oooh, the last comp of the year. The question is, do I post a shot I've already got in the bag or do I look to shoot something specifically for the brief? Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

Thought we were supposed to try and guess what the abstracts were of ?? Putting the subject in the title is a bit of a give away.

As Roy Walker would say: "It's close, but not close enough".
Is it Bobby Robson, perhaps. No, he was a football bloke, wasn't he? Robson Green, maybe? No, he was an actor - or so he claimed to be. Red Robbo Robinson? No, he was a trade union bod and not on TV much. Robert Redgrave? No, he didn't have Vanessa as his sister, did he?
Now I know who he is, Robinson Crusoe! No, I reckon we'll abandon that notion. Come on, Lisa, give us a clue!!!

Not thought about 'abstract' before. This is a new angle for me. I'm looking forward to see other interpretations.

Programme theme music provided by the Joe Harriott Quintet, taken from their 1960s 'Indo-jazz fusion' album, which just demonstrates how abstract this thread is becoming.

Deceptively simply but very clever conception, Steve, and excellent execution. Must be a contender, but haven't you already had the top prize once this year?

I think I'm going to make a New Years resolution to enter a photo every month for next years competition. I think the different 'themes' will encourage me to get out there and try something different.
