The world's number one weekly photography magazine

Amateur Photographer is looking for photographers who have expert knowledge of a particular area of the country. In our new monthly feature, we want to feature places that provide excellent photographic opportunities. Locations may be urban or rural, well-known or off-the-beaten track - it doesn't matter - so long as the images show a variety of spots where photographers can find good subjects and interesting shooting angles. Pictures should be compositionally and technically strong.
For the chance to have your images featured in Insider Knowledge and receive £100, send in 10 images from your chosen area and a short description of where and how you took each image. Please include the camera and lens used, shutter speed, aperture, ISO and any other photographic equipment used.
Digital images must be submitted in a Photoshop-compatible format (eg JPEG or TIF) and should be at least 2,700 pixels along its longest dimension. Please include a contact sheet. Transparencies and slides are also accepted, but we recommend they are sent without glass mounts and posted via Special Delivery. For transparencies, prints or discs to be returned you must include an SAE with sufficient postage.
If your portfolio is selected, Amateur Photographer will contact you for further information so please include a telephone number, email and postal address. Please send images to Insider Knowledge, Amateur Photographer magazine, IPC Media, Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London, SE1 0SU.
