THEME: TRANSPORT

WHO WILL BE THE NEXT EISA MAESTRO?

  • WINNING PICTURES PUBLISHED IN 16 PHOTO MAGAZINES IN EUROPE

Entry: A picture story made up of 6-10 photographs. All entries must be in digital format (from a digital camera or scanned film originals).

HOW IT WORKS

FIRST ROUND: NATIONAL, DEADLINE 15 May 2010
1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be chosen by the editorial Staff of Amateur Photographer and the results published in a June issue.


FINAL ROUND: INTERNATIONAL
All first-prize winners from each country will be brought in for the first international judging at the General Meeting of EISA at the end of June. There will be 16 national winners from 16 photo magazines from all over Europe, and 16 editors in chief as judges.

1st prize: €1,500 and EISA Maestro 2010 Trophy
Publication in the September issues of all 16 EISA photo magazines

2nd prize: €1,000 and certificate

3rd prize: €750 and certificate

TERMS & CONDITIONS EISA MAESTRO 2010

  • A picture story based on the theme TRANSPORT comprising 6-10 pictures must be sent by 15 May 2010 to: apcompetitions@ipcmedia.com
  • All entries must be in digital format (from digital camera or scanned film originals).
  • Format: at initial stages images should be submitted as JPEG digital files of 800 pixels on the longest edge. Images that are selected for the finals will be required to be resubmitted at a higher resolution (3000 pixels).
  • Only one entry per person.
  • Emails MUST have your surname and the word ‘EISA’ in the subject line.
  • The image file name MUST contain your name and then the number of the image in the sequence (if there is a sequence).
  • Entries must be accompanied by your name, address, email address and phone number.
  • The national contests will be judged by the editors of that country and are open only to residents of that country.
  • The international contest will be judged by the 16 editors in chief of the EISA Photo Panel.
  • There will be 3 placed winners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd, in both the national and international competition.
  • You may only submit your own work. Competition organisers and EISA publishers will not be responsible for copyright infringements committed by entrants.
  • The organisers reserve the right to publish winning entries free of charge in any EISA represented country for the purposes of promoting the competition, and in any material relating to the competition.
  • There will be no correspondence about the results.
  • National results will be published in Amateur Photographer in June, and international results will be published in all EISA Photo member magazines in September 2010.
  • 1st prize: €1.500 and EISA Photo Maestro 2010 Trophy.
  • 2nd prize: €1.000 and certificate.
  • 3rd prize: €750 and certificate.
  • The international prizewinners will be invited to the EISA Award Ceremony, to take place on 3 September 2010 during the International Funkausstellung (IFA) at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin. The first prize includes plane or train tickets, a two-night hotel stay based on a double room and IFA entry for the winner and a guest. The second and third prize winners receive tickets, hotel and IFA entry, but for one person.
