Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky has teamed up with the Sunday Express and Amateur Photographer magazine to launch the UK’s largest maritime photography competition, 'Wish You Were Here' for the 5th year running.

Also known as The Genuine Maritime Malt, Old Pulteney, in partnership with Amateur Photographer and the Sunday Express and is set to revive the great British tradition of the seaside postcard through an initiative that will search the country for the best amateur nautical images.

What are we looking for?

Striking snapshots of life on the ocean wave. From a classic photograph of a yacht sailing into the sunset, or a surfer catching the perfect wave, to a rugged image of fishermen coming into shore. We want photographs that encapsulate Britain’s coastal landscape; high quality, creative images that have a story to tell.

Prize

The competition is supported by AP the Sunday Express, RNLI and and VisitBritain.com and offers a fantastic prize of £2500 for the winning shot. There is also a trip for two to the Pulteney Distillery, which is the most northerly distillery on the mainland in the far north of Scotland where the winner will personally fill a bottle of Old Pulteney.

The top picture will also be published in the Sunday Express and Amateur Photographer.
