Polaroid Competition
In an historic move, AP readers have been given license to help design a new Polaroid digital camera that will include an on-board printer focused on ‘professional and business users’.The camera will be the first Polaroid consumer digital camera to print photographs targeted at this market, producing larger (4x3in) prints than that of the newly introduced PoGo printer, which delivers 2x3in pictures. The 4x3in print size could be significant because it is the same format Polaroid used on its famous consumer instant film cameras before it discontinued traditional film.
First, please rank features in order of importance (1-5 with '1' being the most important)
Additional external battery for extended printing capacity per recharge
Built-in hotshoe for high-power external flash (in addition to built-in flash)
Images can be certified tamper-proof (similar to the traditional Polaroid print) using digital lock-out technology
10 million pixels (instead of 7 million pixels)
600 dpi printing with ultra-wide colour range (vs 300 dpi printing)
Secondly, should the product look like a traditional Polaroid (comfortable and durable) or be as small as possible. Finally in 25 words or fewer, why do you think instant printing is important?
